Grammys 2018!

Sup dudes!

So, the Grammys happened on January 28th 2018 from Madison Square Garden, New York City. This was the 60th annual Grammy Awards! Always fun, always dramatic... everything I need. Today I want to talk about some of my favourite moments, favourites looks and favourite performances.

Best Looks-

So for me, Miss Camila Cabello absolutely stole the show in terms of her look. She looks absolutely incredible in a fitted, red, floor length gown that looks like it was made by the fashion Gods just for Camila herself. Round of applause for Vivienne Westwood please Ladies and Gents!

The brunette bombshell sported some jewellery from Bulgari's Serpenti collection and its fair to say it complemented her dress perfectly without over powering the look. Can you get much better than that?

Whats better than a killer dress you ask? A killer personality.
Camila was hilarious on the red carpet... especially when she bumped into the lovely Nick Jonas who she had previously told a pretty uhm, interesting story about on the Jimmy Fallon show. Play it cool girl, play it cool.

Check out both clips below to get the goss.

Now onto my next stand out look.

So obviously Miley's Princess gown was breathtakingly gorgeous, however that's not what I'm here to talk about today. Its her face! Her Makeup looks absolutely incredible. She's glowing, she looks youthful, sophisticated and her hair frames her face perfectly. I noticed how amazing the smiley superstar looked whilst I was watching her, equally as amazing, performance with Elton John. If you haven't seen that, check it out below. That will speak for itself.

Favourite Moments-

We couldn't get through this post without talking about king of the evening, Mr Bruno Mars.
He won a total of 6 awards and showcased his achievements in this Adele-esque photo which I absolutely LOVE! Bruno's big wins included some of the top awards of the night. Including album, record and song of the year.

Onto the next. Blu Ivy is now an icon for appearing to hush Mum (BeyoncĂ©) and Dad (Jay Z) whilst they were applauding. The clip is absolutely hilarious and its fair to say mini Carter is now included in some pretty funny memes. Ohhh the internet. But hey, what do you expect when she's the daughter of arguably the sassiest woman alive, aye?

Check out the clip below

Favourite performances-

Bruno Mars and Cardi B performing Finesse was absolutely iconic. They had the crowd of celebrities up on their feet dancing along, they had twitter going crazy and its fair to say I was loving it, too.
From the 90's inspired outfits to the award worthy dance breaks, the performance is one that will definitely be talked about for years to come.

Leave the best until last...

Something I feel passionate about is Kesha's performance. If you are unaware, last year Kesha went through a very hard time due to a sexual assult case. I will let you readers research that if you want to know more as I want this segment to just shine a light on how amazing Kesha is. So through all those hard times, Kesha released her single 'Praying' which includes some of the most heart breaking and powerful lyrics and vocals. The selling point of this song is her realness and emotion, which she definitely didn't lack whilst performing the song at the Grammys. Her fellow Female stars joined her on stage and sang the backing vocals to show their support for her standing up for Women in the industry. You could see how much that song meant to every woman on that stage, they may not all take the same message from it, but you could see and hear that everyone related it to themselves in one way or another and that was truly inspiring to watch. The moment wasn't just beautiful for Women, but for humanity. A well and truly gorgeous performance that was much needed in todays society. A well earned standing ovation.

So! That was my Grammy 2018 summary. Obviously, there are hundreds of other moments that were just as amazing, but I'd be here for days if I tried to talk about everything. That's where you come in! Leave a comment telling me your favourite moment, your favourite performance, your favourite look or anything else. Lets keep it positive, people.

Thanks for reading.
